This may seem like a silly question to some, but I really feel lost in the legal system. Would these rights apply to a stolen ring and credit card, both were felony charges and my brother is imprisoned for the ring? The prosecuting attorney is telling my mother that she plans to release him on home confinement, that would require him coming back into my home, I am the one that filed the charges, I wouldn’t feel reasonably protected. They have yet to inform me of any court proceedings, as a matter of fact they haven’t contacted me at all, if my mother had not told me he was in jail, well it’s a small town, but the police never told me.

I know what your talking about they did the same stuff to me. Even though I was 20 when I graduated I wouldn’t quit I kept on pushing back until I graduated. I stayed even though they refused to let me participate in extra curricular activities such as prom and was not allowed to walk at my own graduation. To all the students who that feel like they are being pushed to drop out just remember you can push back and stay in school despite all the walls that are put in your way and the grief the staff and life may put you through. IF I CAN DO IT I KNOW YOU CAN.

Its so important for people to come together. To many groups are worried about their issue and not about unifying to create a new and better world. They need to understand that everything is related.

I was “unlucky” enough to have birthed a child a few days before Christmas. Your post made me laugh. The holiday season and the beginning and end of school season have a lot of extra expenses that you just can’t prepare for when you have a limited income.
I’m as frugal as I can possibly be but I just have more expenses than I do resources. It takes so much time and energy just trying to meet basic needs.
